In the winter of 2021 spent 10 days exploring Tulum and the Yucatan Peninsula. While this area is well known and well traveled by people all over the world, it is a truly beautiful region of Mexico. We started our journey here after a week in San Miguel de Allende. Since we had invested a decent chunk of money for the retreat in San Miguel, we opted to find a more economical hotel choice and stayed at the newly opened KAN TULUM. This hotel is a sustainable hotel nestled in the jungle with it’s own Cenote. It is about a 10 minute drive from the beaches and is off the beaten path.
