A Note about Play.

A note about play.

Taking the time to slow down and figure out the next chapter in my life has been a true blessing, a blessing I had a hard time believing could actually happen.

Today I went to a beautiful lake in the Sierra Nevada’s. It was such a special moment in the middle of the week mid- September. The weather in the Sierra Nevada’s this time of year is just spectacular.

The lake was pristine, no noise pollution, one of those places that allows you to connect with Spirit. The music is the song of the wind rustling the leaves. This is the type of place where you hear the messages from Spirit, what I like to call a download.

For seven years I sacrificed play, never prioritizing it, work always came before play. Play felt like a burden, my nervous system was so out of whack because of stress from work. I was on call 24/7, the sound of an email ding would throw me into a worried mess. I had a hard time ever enjoying myself and I was unable to be present.

I decided today, I will no longer sacrifice play for work, play is just as essential to work, in fact it may be the real work. The more I play the more I allow the spaciousness for abundance to flow. The time is now for our way of life to change, to enjoy more, do less.
