A White Peacock.

A white peacock.

The last night I spent in Roatán, Honduras I had an incredibly vivid dream. I dreamt that I was able to travel to different dimensions. In the dream, a friend of mine said, “Of course you can jump dimensions! It’s so easy I’ll show you.” Of course her boyfriend heeds the warning, “I just don’t recommend doing it if you’re having issues in your current dimension.”

So I decide, I have no major problems in this dimensions, I’d like to jump to another! Sure enough, in a split second I’m in a different dimension! As soon as I arrive, I see the most beautiful white peacock. There’s a man standing next to the peacock, he’s explaining the peacock is rare, therefore its feathers are valuable.

I wake up from the dream totally amazed how real the dream felt. I tell my partner all about it and also record it in my journal before catching our flight back to El Salvador that same morning.

We arrive back in El Salvador right around lunch time. We stop at a random place, where there is a pool, restaurant in a large park. I quickly notice the monkeys and macaws in the cages we walk by on the way to our table. I often feel sad seeing animals in captivity. Nonetheless, we order lunch and I’m quite grumpy. My partner points to the other side of the park, and says, “hey look there are more animal over there.” I look over and I see a large white bird, is that a white peacock?!

I quickly make my way to the enclosure, and sure enough it’s a fucking white peacock. I couldn’t believe it!

For reference here is the white peacock symbolism I found online, “The White Peacock symbolizes the Divine self realized, purified and cleansed the illuminated soul self is seen, as if witnessing itself being born again the Divine self is resurrected from the fire of fear and the shadows of doubt.”

How fitting for this current time in my life, taking a leap of faith and following my heart.
